Why do you need this board?

If you want to be able to control your 3D printer via a WEB browser without having to buy extra components like a RASPBERRY PI for OCTOPRINT, this board is for you. If you run a print farm and want to be able to start a print remotely via WI-FI, this board is for you.

Native WI-FI support

The FYSETC E4 is based on the ESP32 microcontroller, so the E4 supports 802.11 B/G/N protocols, and a custom branch of the MARLIN firmware can be used on the board to allow the board to be controlled via a WEB browser.

This eliminates the need for the traditional LCD controller used by most other boards. There is also no need to connect a RASPBERRY PI to control the printer via a web interface. The web interface is the popular ESP3D WEBUI, which runs natively on a custom MARLIN FORK. The printer can then be controlled via any web browser, whether it is a PC, smartphone or tablet.

For example, you can slice a 3D model using slicing software on a PC, then use the PC’s WEB browser to connect to the printer, and then send the sliced GCODE file to the printer via WI-FI. Then, using the same WEB browser, you can tell the printer to start printing.

TRINAMIC stepper driver

FYSETC E4 uses the latest and best stepper driver: TMC2209.

1.Super silent

2. Good heat dissipation

3. Maximum current up to 2A

4. Large heat sink, good heat dissipation

5.Support sensorless homing function.

Probe high voltage

A common concern when using inductive or capacitive probes is the voltage at which they are powered. These probes are usually connected to the z-terminal, which is powered directly by the microcontroller. This means 5V or 3.3V, but these probes are not designed for such low voltages. Instead, they are usually designed to operate at 6V or higher. Using a lower voltage to operate such a probe will reduce its detection distance, thus reducing its effectiveness.

The FYSETC E4 has a connector dedicated to this type of z-probe, which uses the supply voltage to power the probe. If a 12V supply is used, the probe will operate at 12V, and vice versa when a 24V supply is used. This allows the probe to operate within its specifications, providing the best possible detection distance.

Onboard or external antenna

There are two versions of E4 board. One is that the antenna of WIFI module is onboard. The other is that WIFI module with external antenna. If you want to install the board in a closed box, this option gives you a choice, the external antenna can avoid the problem of WIFI signal weakening in a narrow space.
