The APDS series is an environmental brightness sensor that integrates ALS, infrared LED, and proximity detector optical modules, as well as ambient light sensing (ALS). It uses dual photodiodes to approximate 0.01 lux illuminance and human visual response, with programmable interrupt function for upper and lower threshold values, up to 16 bit resolution, and high flexibility even behind dark glass. The proximity sensor can perform 100mm object detection after complete calibration, eliminating the need for factory calibration of terminal devices and sub components. The dynamic range of ambient light has also increased from 10K lux to 30K lux, and the solar calibration has been increased to 50K lux, improving sensitivity and avoiding strong light interference. It can work accurately under a large 1.0mm Air Gap without the need for external isolation treatment, greatly facilitating customer structural design. Its waiting state power consumption -90 μ A typical value, sleep mode power -2.2 μ A typical value, which can save more energy; Up to 400kHz (I2C fast mode) dedicated interrupt pin, providing I2C interface compatibility, fully integrated solution, convenient structure and circuit design, we believe it can bring users a better design experience and product value!
