The core of this product is the high-performance, low-power, 8-bit microcontroller ATmega2560, which is the ATmega2560 development board. There are voltage stabilization circuit, protection circuit, USB to TTL micro USB interface, reset button, status indicator light, and all functional pins of ATmega2560 on the periphery.
The product can be powered by USB and VIN pins. When powered by USB, a 500mA self recovery fuse is required. Therefore, if the current exceeds 500mA, the circuit will brake and disconnect, stopping working to prevent short circuits from causing damage to the board. If the required current is greater than 500mA, power can be supplied from the VIN port, with a power supply range of 6.5-12V (peak 18V). The VIN input has a diode protection to prevent reverse connection. Overall, USB power supply is safe, and VIN port power supply can stably output 5V and 3.3V voltages. USB to TTL uses CH340G serial port IC, which ensures stable data transmission and makes it very convenient to download programs from the USB port. 4 LED indicator lights that can discharge and observe the working status. The peripheral expansion pins have already led out the functional pins of the microcontroller, which can be used freely. Among them, 6 pins are ICSP interfaces, which are specifically designed to provide interfaces for the programmer to burn programs on the board. The burning communication method is SPI bus.
The product is basically the same as the Arduino Mega 2560 development board, except that this version is smaller and easier to embed into other systems. So the usage method is the same as Arduino Mega 2560.
