Introduction
The special chip used in SX-GPI0-KA module is the PCA9555 of NXP company. The core is a 24-pin TSSOP packaged CMOS device. The core extends the input/output (GPI0) pin through the 12C bus/SMBus, with strong driving ability and low power consumption. The improved features include 4000pF drive capability, 5VI/0 port, working current less than 1mA, separate I/0 port configuration, 400kHz I2C bus clock frequency and smaller packaging form. It can be applied to keyboard and switch control, 12C multi-card application, I/O expansion device with hot plug and high output current, multi-channel data acquisition, multi-channel control, LCD display, motherboard assembly, ACPI power switch, timer, LED control, signal detection, sensor, fan control and other occasions.
