Description
Grove-Line finder is designed for a line-following robot. It has an IR emitting LED and an IR-sensitive phototransistor. It can output a digital signal to a microcontroller so that the robot can follow a black line on a white background or vice versa.
Those eye-like sensors on the board are actually IR emitting LED and sensitive phototransistors. When the phototransistor detects the reflected infrared light from the IR emitting LED, it will output a digital signal, which changes from HIGH to LOW.
We have developed more than 400 Grove modules, covering a wide range of applications that can fulfill various needs. Click to explore the Grove Sensor family and get started to Grove your Idea. For all Grove users (especially beginners), we provide you with guidance PDF documents.
